Theme Indexing

What is your site about?

More and more engines use a theme-based algorythim for their indexing. That is, they look at all of the pages on your site and establish a general theme for the site. So take the concept of optimizing a single page for a specific keyword, and apply it to your entire site.

You see this all over the place. Certainly, when you go to many engines and look at listings, there is often a link under each that reads 'Similar Pages' or 'More like this'. Those are pointing to other sites of the same theme.

Consider when you do searches on the keywords you want to target, that you should look at those 'theme' listings, and find common ground between them. This will give you an idea how to best write copy on your site.
